Women's Sports Marketing: Unleash Your Business Potential

Chicago Sky needs a fresh, talented point guard, a leader. South Carolina's Raven Johnson would fit perfectly with Kamilla Cardoso. They were teammates at SC and won a Championship together, UNDEFEATED!-38-0

Washington Mystics could use a dominating BIG, someone about 6'7" that can help out Shakira Austin in the front court. Stephanie Dolson is a 3 point shooter at 6'5".

Seattle Storm need some shooters, one at the 3 and another shooting guard. This would take some of the pressure off Skylar Diggins and Nneka Ogumike.

As I have been saying for the past two seasons, Lynx need a Dominating Big, 6'6" or taller. The Lynx have a couple of 6'3" and a 6'4", but they don't play taller like Aja Wilson and Kia Stokes for the Aces. The Lynx select 2nd. If Lauren Betts come out this year and the Lynx are very lucky, they could draft her. On the other side of that coin, the Wings could draft her because they need a dominating Big to match up with Bueckers and Ogumbowale. If this happens, it makes the Wings automatic contenders next season.

Now, speaking of the Dallas Wings. If the Wings select Lauren Betts, they truly hit the lottery because now Dallas has a Big 3. When Betts comes out, she will be the #1 overall pick. If Dallas keeps Li Yueru as a backup, that will make it even better. Now the Wings have twin towers and two sharpshooters in Paige and Arike.
These will be the first 5 teams to draft in the 2026 WNBA Draft---------------------------
1. Dallas Wings
2. Minnesota Lynx
3. Seattle Storm
4. Washington Mystics
5. Chicago Sky
This is how the Draft Room has the draft picks:
#1. Wings pick Lauren Betts.
#2 Lynx pick Olivia Miles.
#3 Storm pick Awa Fam.
#4 Mystics pick Azzie Fudd
#5 Sky pick Ta' Niya Latson
I agree with Wings, Storm and Mystics pick. I have reservations regarding Sky first pick and Lynx first pick. The lynx have a good point guard. Lynx need a true BIG. They have tried to win the Championship twice in a row without a true Big and failed. Is it going to take a 3rd time for it to sink in? Ta' Niya Latson is a great choice for the Sky, only if Raven Johnson is still available with the Sky's 17th pick. I don't see Raven still available that long. There are several teams that need a good, overall point guard. People keep taking away from Raven's value because she is not a Scoring Guard First. Even though she Can Score. A really good point guard is an Orchestrator First, Shooter Second. Plus she plays defense well and a great rebounder. Just because something is the norm, it doesn't make it always right. If the Sky is lucky to pick Latson and still get Johnson later in the draft, I would say the Sky won the Lottery. Now the Sky have a Big 3; Kamilla Cardoso, Ta' Niya Latson and Raven Johnson. With the orher pieces that the Sky have, Minus Reese, they will be a contender. The Sky does not need all the unnecessary drama and kaos that Reese brings with her. I don't see any team being able to deal with that kind of behavior. It's too much of a distraction. The Sky will Never win a Championship with Reese, especially as the first option.
Sandy Brondello has been named the new head coach of the new expansion team, Toronto Tempo.
This comes as no surprise. I knew some one would scoop her up quickly. Sandy was the winningest coach in New York Liberty history. What were the Liberty thinking? Oh well, Liberty lost. Like they say, "all's well that ends well". Sandy landed on her feet, I'm sure with no regrets.

WNBA New Champions for 2025,
The Las Vegas Aces

NEW CHAMPIONS OF 2025
WNBA FINALS.....

AJA WILSON, FINALS MVP 2025
Congratulations!!!

The Las Vegas Aces, take back the Crown in 2025
Las Vegas Aces are the New Champs:
Hello Sports Fans. The WNBA season is over and so is the playoffs. The new Champions are the Las Vegas Aces. I said the Mercury was out classed and it showed. I said the Mercury would be swept and they were. The Mercury have nothing to be ashamed of. They had a good run this season, more than expected. So Mercury, go on vacation, come back and regroup for next season. No disrespect intended.
On the other hand, midway through the season the Aces were below 500 and people started to doubt them. They made a run and started to come back. Then they got blown out care of the Minnesota Lynx, by 53 points. That was a wakeup call. They went on a 16 game tear and never looked back. The loss was a huge motivator for the team and Aja Wilson. So, the Aces take back their Crown, 3 Championships in 4 seasons. I think they are headed for a new record. CONGRATULATIONS Las Vegas Aces!!
Now, Congratulations are in order for Aja Wilson. Aja is the FIRST ATHLETE in history, WNBA, NBA or any other sport to win; League MVP, Defensive Player of The Year, Scoring Title, Finals MVP and A Championship all in the same season. She stands alone. I think that makes her the Best Athlete on The Planet at this point!
Now that the WNBA Season has come to a close, I will be bringing you NCAA Women's Basketball news all season as well as commentary, so stay tuned. Any breaking news regarding the WNBA in the off season I will keep you posted and updated.
Congratulations once again to the new Champs, LAS VEGAS ACES!!
