Top Leading Scorers in NCAA Women's Basketball for February 2026
1. Mikayla Blakes--Vanderbilt-26.3
2. Audi Crooks- Iowa State-25.4
3. Hannah Hidalgo-Notre Dame-24.7
4. Mia Nicastro-Western Illinois-24.0

Sarah Strong. UConn's Super Star

Audi Crooks, Iowa State's force of ONE

Hannah Hidalgo, Notre Dame's Sniper

Mikayla Blakes, Vanderbilt's most reliable. Vanderbilts spark plug that makes the engine run.

Ta' Niya Latson, South Carolina's flashlight. When things get dark, she shines the light.
We'll help you build an email marketing campaign that engages your audience and drives sales.

Lauren Betts, going for it all this season and preparing for the WNBA.
Gotta get pass UConn and South Carolina first. Not going to be easy.

Reagan Beers, Oklahoma's inside threat. Hard to stop.
Gonna be someone's nightmare in the WNBA.

Medina Okot, Top of South Carolina's Swat Patrol.
Gonna get that ring and take her talents to the WNBA.

As I have said many times before, Raven Johnson is the best All Around Point Guard in the country and the operative words being "All Around".
Facilitator, Orchestrator, Court Vision, Playmaker, Rebounder, Shooter and Defense. The entire package.

TCU has shooters and Bigs, but without Olivia Miles veteran floor leadership, I don't think TCU would be top 20. They have a great team, but would be lost without Olivia.

NC States Orchestrator. Being only a junior, she has another year to get even better. That will be scary. Tighten your seat belt.

Medina Okot 6'6" and Alicia Tournabize 6'7" South Carolina's dangerous TWIN TOWERS. The pair have turned out to be possibly the biggest inside threat in Women's College Basketball. Do not Trespass. Enter into the paint at your own risk. South Carolina has rim and paint protection. And this pair of Twin Towers can shoot the three ball. You have been WARNED! Seriously, how do you bring down the towers? You can't!
These are the top 25 best players in Women's College Basketball so far in 2026, according to NCAA rankings:
1. Sarah Strong- UConn
2. Madison Booker- Texas
3. Mikayla Blakes- Vanderbilt
4. Azzi Fudd- UConn
5. Olivia Miles- TCU
6. Lauren Betts- UCLA
7. Hannah Hidalgo- Notre Dame
8. Audi Crooks- Iowa State
9. Joyce Edwards- South Carolina
10. Rori Harmon- Texas
11. Khamil Pierce- NC State
12. Flau'jae Johnson- LSU
13. Reagan Beers- Oklahoma
14. Mikaylah Williams- LSU
15. Olivia Olson- Michigan
16. Jazzy Davidson- USC
17. Clara Stark- Kentucky
18. Aaliyah Chavez- Oklahoma
19. KiKi Rice- UCLA
20. Liv McGill- Florida
21. Cotie McMahon- Ole Miss
22. Ta'Niya Latson- South Carolina
23. Taliah Scott- Baylor
24. Jaloni Cambridge- Ohio
25. Medina Okot- South Carolina
For the most part, I agree with the list, but not necessarily in this particular order. For example, Medina Okot should be in the top ten, not at #25. And South Carolina's Raven Johnson should be on this list. She is in my opinion the top all around point guard in the country. And the operative words being "All Around". The people who vote are too hung up on how much a player scores, instead of looking at the overall talent at their position. Olivia Miles is ranked by voters as the best point guard in Women's College Basketball. I don't agree that she is one of the best, but in my opinion she is not the best complete overall point guard. I will explain in my next Commentary, which comes out on January 15, 2026.
